I’m quite content with my life at the moment. I feel productive in many ways; my efforts have brought forth a culmination of knowledge and better self-understanding as well as a new perspective on a great number of things, such as the innate attitude of an individual and the differences between a Hobbesian, Utilitarian, and a Virtue Ethical way of perceiving a certain lifestyle, regardless of the predestined factors of one’s life. Intrinsic and instrumental value are also concepts that I have come into considering as well as coming to have a better understanding of Aristotle’s famous quote, “I think, therefore I am.” He deemed that as anything, the best existence is an existence in which it is performing its function well. As a knife exists to cut, humans exist to reason thus a life of reasoning well is a good life for a human.
